EDU 772 Reflection

What are the 1 - 2 most important things you learned in this course? How will these things be part of your future work as a teacher or librarian?      One thing that has really stuck with me throughout this course are the 21st century learning skills that robotics teaches students. As a general education teacher, I have wondered how I would support my decision to integrate robotics into the classroom if questioned. I now have a strong understanding of how many skills it actually helps to teach students besides the tech skills themselves. I know that by teaching robotics in the classroom, I am teaching my students how to be collaborative and creative learners. Robotics also teaches students about critical thinking and problem solving, both of those skill are needed for all subjects in school as well as careers in their future.
